FAQ

  • What is the Check In/Check Out time?

Check in is at 4:00 PM and Check Out is at 10:00 AM for all of our properties.

  • How do I access my property upon arrival?

No less than 24 hours before scheduled arrival you will receive an email containing all necessary information including location of keys.

  • What amenities do I have access to?
  • Can I play golf at the May River Course if I stay in one of your properties?

Yes. To make arrangements please contact our team for details on green fees, caddie fees, and other costs.

  • Do I need to rent bicycles or a golf cart during my stay? How might I arrange this?

Golf carts are not necessary, but a great way to get around the community. Renting bicycles is strongly recommended. There’s not a better way to explore Palmetto Bluff. Carts and bikes can be rented from our Concierge department. Please contact them once the reservation has been made.

  • Would you recommend bringing groceries?

Yes, if you plan to eat in. RT’s Market is a gourmet convenient store within walking distance from our rentals. Publix and Kroger are both within a 20 minute drive. Instacart can also deliver to our rentals.

  • Is there a coffee maker in my rental?

Yes. Our rentals are equipped with a drip coffee maker

  • Is there baby gear available in the home?

No, but there is a great local rental service based in Hilton Head called “Babies Away”. They will deliver and set up nearly anything you may need. Call them at (843) 681-8722 or visit www.babysaway.com for inquiries.

  • What should I pack for my stay?

Palmetto Bluff is very easy going community, so expect to be spending a lot of time in your casual attire. The typical Palmetto Bluff wardrobe consists of sandals, shorts, polo shirts, t-shirts, sundresses, and sunglasses. If you expect to explore any fine dining or nightlife in the adjacent communities of Hilton Head or Savannah you may want to pack something a step up in terms of attire, as some establishments may call for it-think “business casual”. We do recommend sunscreen for ALL visitors, as even limited sun exposure at this latitude can be relatively intense. Other items include but are not limited to: swimsuits, beach bags and towels, sun hat, bug repellent, and coverups. We also experience periodic rain showers particularly in summer afternoons, so a light rain jacket is not a bad idea. Although our climate during winter months is relatively mild, we do recommend bringing light to medium jackets, fleeces, sweaters, and vests. Temperatures typically do not go below freezing, but it can happen from time to time so be prepared!

  • What happens in the event I have to cancel my stay?

We will work with you to reschedule your visit. Otherwise: - Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% Refund.
    - Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund of entire booking amount.
    - Bookings cancelled with less than 30 days notice will receive no refund.
